Commercial Asphalt Overlay Process

So how does an overlay work? Here’s the way it works:

Existing pavement (parking lot, loading zone, road) is professionally cleaned
Any minor repairs like crack filling are performed; more serious damage like potholes are fixed with asphalt patching
The overlay is performed: a fresh layer of hot asphalt is poured over the clean, repaired surface. This layer is compacted and graded.
It’s recommended that you seal a new overlay with a sealcoating to preserve the pavement.

This is a letter of reference for Gann Asphalt & Concrete. In searching for a company to seal and restripe my office I reached out to several companies. Jason Gann returned my call promptly and answered all my questions promptly. I then contacted with him to complete the request. After the lot was sealed there were areas that I could see that sealing alone was not going to be adequate. Jason then met with me and we discussed what could and should be done.
