Project/Operations Manager
Responsibilities: The ideal candidate is a reliable, punctual and detail oriented individual with a strong work ethic and shows willingness to learn. The Project Manager is responsible for the entire successful execution of the entire project.
• Plan, direct, coordinate, inspect, schedule, and budget activities concerned with multiple projects, subcontractors and in-house crews simultaneously
• Subcontractor coordination
• Update office and customers of schedule changes, change orders, delays, etc.
• Handle project disputes, whether customer related, subcontractors, or internal
• Communicate and coordinate between the sales staff, crews, and customers to ensure a successful project, as well as provide progress and completion photos
• Demonstrate computer proficiency included but not limited to Microsoft Office, as well as learn in-house software and methods
• Study plans and project documents in order to plan ahead to procure materials and supplies in advance of the project
• Implement quality control and safety programs and hold regular crew meetings
• Lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and or supplies
• Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices
Requirements:
• Heavy or Civil Construction and/or paving experience is preferred, but not required
• 4 plus years of previous related experience in construction field is preferred
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Self-motivated and punctual
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
• Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
• Be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold
• Strictly adhere to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in employee handbook
• Have the willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as states by OSHA and or MSHA
• Must be able to work in a high paced environment and manage projects concurrently
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to work independently, with little or no supervision
